Kinblood privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Kinblood is made by Himmelblau Studios (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietorship based in Thailand, which is responsible for your data. This policy explains what we collect when you play and when you visit this website, why, and what you can do about it. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect when you play
Account. Kinblood is played online. The game creates an account with Unity Authentication: a player id, and, if you link one, your email sign-in (later Steam, Google or Apple). You can play as a guest; a guest account is tied to your device until you link it.
Game data. Your progress is saved on our servers through Unity Cloud Save: your cards, decks, currencies, story progress, rank and rating, rewards and the counters behind achievements and missions. Your display name, rank, rating and active deck are visible to other players in the ranked ladder, the attack log and the friends list.
Friends. If you add friends, we store your friend code, your friend list, requests and the deck you share with friends.
Purchases. When purchases open, we record what you bought and when, to deliver it and to prevent abuse. Payment itself is handled by Steam (and later Google Play); we never see your card details.
Technical data. Unity’s services receive the technical data needed to run them (for example your IP address while connected, and the device and platform the game runs on). We do not use analytics, advertising ids or tracking for ads in the game.
On your device. Settings, your recent fights for History and some caches are stored on your device only.
What we collect when you visit this website
This website sets no cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and no fingerprinting and does not track you across sites. If you press play on the trailer, the video loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com), and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies from that point.
Why
To run the game: keep your save, run ranked matches and fights between players, deliver rewards and purchases, show the ladder and friends, and prevent cheating and abuse. On the website: to serve the pages and to know roughly how many people visit. We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services: Authentication, Cloud Save, Cloud Code) stores and processes game data for us.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and provides its visit counts.
- Later: Valve (Steam) for sign-in and purchases; Google for Android sign-in and purchases.
These providers may process data outside Thailand, including in the United States and the European Union.
How long we keep it
As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and save are deleted from our servers within 30 days. Ranked records that other players see (attack logs) may keep your display name until they age out.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account any time in Settings ▸ Account ▸ Delete account. This deletes your save and cannot be undone.
- Copy your save in Settings ▸ Data.
- Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it: [email protected]. Include your player id (Settings ▸ Account) so we can find your account.
Depending on where you live, you have further rights, which we honor: for example under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, or California’s privacy laws. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Kinblood is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the European Union). If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when the game or the website changes what it collects, and say so in the game’s news.
